Michigan Gluten Free Thanksgiving Restaurant To-Go Orders
Kangaroo Kitchen – Grand Rapids, MI
Kangaroo Kitchen- This caterer is located in Grand Rapids. Their Thanksgiving order form denotes gluten free and plant based options, except for the dessert. Their turkey is not labeled gluten free, but their brisket is gluten free. There is not a gluten free stuffing offering. There are also vegan options, but the majority of them are not gluten free. Ordering deadline is Nov. 19th. Pick up is Nov. 26th.
Rise Authentic Baking – Grand Rapids, MI

Mitts 2 Pitts offers many Gluten Free Thanksgiving to Go options on their menu. The smoked turkey and wing dings are gluten free.
Gluten Free Thanksgiving Sides include Candies Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Collard Greens, and Green Beans. In addition they will also offer gluten free macaroni and cheese and gluten free cornbread dressing.
The deadline to order is November 20th, with a pick up options for November 26th or Thanksgiving morning (November 27th) from noon – 2 pm. Call 269-719-2237 to order.
G3 Food 4 All – Lansing, MI
G3 Food 4 All in Lansing is taking Thanksgiving Take N Bake meal orders through November 15th. Menu entrees includes Turkey, potatoes, stuffing, squash and more. Dairy free options are available. Bread, veggies and pie are also available. Pickup is November 26th at Allen St. Market. Order via email at [email protected].
Cooper’s Hawk Winery – Clinton Twp, Kentwood, and Troy, MI
Cooper’s Hawk Winery offers a “Heat and Serve” Thanksgiving Package that feeds 6 for $199.99. Most items are the menu are gluten free EXCEPT the stuffing, gravy and Pumpkin Cheesecake.
Staff “recommends contacting the restaurant location you are looking to purchase the kit from and discussing the allergy with them so that they can ensure there is no cross-contamination. They may also be able to provide more insight on any specific alternatives they might be able to offer.”
Social House – Flint, MI

St. Johns Resort located in Plymouth offers many gluten free options on their Thanksgiving menu. That includes appetizers, entrees (gluten free crab cakes!), side dishes (mac & cheese AND stuffing!), and even pumpkin cheesecake. Heights Brewing – Farmington, MI
Heights Brewing is offering a 100% Gluten Free Thanksgiving dinner this year. Take out OR dine in.
Take out menu includes

Zingerman’s Roadhouse – Ann Arbor, MI
Zingerman’s Roadhouse offers a Thanksgiving To-Go Menu that clearly marks gluten free options. Turkeys, mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables and cranberry relish are gluten free. They also offer gluten free collard greens and grits. (No GF stuffing, bread or pies.) Their gluten free butterscotch pudding is on the menu. You can also order wine.

Zerbo’s – Commerce & Livonia, MI
Zerbo’s in Commerce and Livonia offers a vegan and gluten free meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy. Their mashed sweet potatoes and roasted vegetables are also gluten free.
Plum Market – Ann Arbor, Bloomfield, and West Bloomfield, MI
Plum Market is offering a vegan and gluten free dinner package. It includes Portobella Mushroom Bruschetta, Butternut Squash & Quinoa Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, and Roasted Brussels Sprouts with chestnuts and dried cherries.
As an aside, I’m disappointed to see that Whole Foods does not mark any of the items on their Thanksgiving menu as gluten free. Not even the vegetables.

Michigan Restaurants with Gluten Free Options Open on Thanksgiving
Aerie Commons / The Blackbird Waterhouse – Coloma, MI
Aerie Commons / The Blackbird Waterhouse is offering a Thanksgiving dinner this year.
This restaurant “only cooks with GF flour, so most of the dinner will be GF since they cook from scratch.
The yeast rolls, Mac n Cheese, Stuffing and Bread Pudding will not be GF.
But the grazing table, soup, salad, turkey, prime rib, green bean casserole, corn, smash potatoes, cheesecake, apple crisp and pumpkin pies will be GF.
They can also have gf versions for the stuffing, rolls, and mac n cheese upon request.
