Please check out Sam Hill! (Maybe I missed it?) We and our son (celiac) love it. Many GF options and up on protocols. He has eaten there many times happily (different meals each time) and with no problems.

Sadly, CoreLife has changed quite a lot and has introduced a ton of cross-contamination. They now serve burritos on flour tortillas and tacos on naan bread, so when building these meals, the utensils to scoop the ingredients make contact with the tortillas/naan and then go right back into the ingredients. You can always ask the staff if they will open new containers of ingredients from the back to make your dish, but overall it’s a much riskier place to eat than it used to be.

However, Sam Hill is a newer restaurant just west of Ann Arbor that is definitely worth checking out and adding to your list! They have a dedicated GF fryer for chicken wings, Brussels sprouts, and their delicious housemade potato chips & corn chips, and they use GF rice flour batter on their cauliflower bites, fish & chips, fish tacos, and fried chicken sandwich. Their pot roast au jus is also GF, and they offer GF bread, buns, AND wraps. Their website includes a helpful dietary guide listing 11 different allergens. And in addition to a full-service restaurant, they also have a fantastic outdoor space, with lawn games, live music, and an outdoor bar May through October!

Miss Kim’s has SO many gluten free options and if you talk to the owner/chef she takes gf very seriously. I’ve eaten there quite a few times and have never gotten sick and I felt like the staff really understood gf.
Detroit Filling Station has lots of GF options and even has a celiac option you can select while ordering. They take food allergies very seriously and the food is delish! It is vegan or vegetarian, as well.
