My nephew went to WMU this year. He has a nut and legume allergy and lives near the Valley dining room. He is able to eat without issue. We have gone on several Saturdays for his dance performances and unfortunately I am not able to find GF options on the weekends as a visitor. We asked the staff, and most of the options are closed on weekends. Students who have access to the Pantry can order ahead of the weekend and reheat their items or get the prepared items kept in the pantry. WMU has been excellent for students with allergies

I'm so glad that this post was helpful. I've been wanting to visit more colleges / universities to share this kind of info. Maybe this year I can get back to doing more.

My daughter (celiac) is looking at WMU and your article is phenomenally helpful in assessing their capabilities to handle a celiac. Of course we will be meeting with the team on campus to assess further but thank you for all you do for the GF community!
