More and more I dread functions that involve food. I'm tired of talking about it, explaining it and/or listening to suggestions that just a little/taste won't hurt -- that's just nonsense for someone with Celiac. So close to cancelling my attendance to upcoming holidays!!

HI, I hope your holidays went well! I spent mine home this year. But the last time I went to a potluck type thing, I brought a "prepped" meal, and a dish to share, took my portion of the shared dish before anyone else, and didn't take seconds from the shared one. I then took home the dish and handwashed it so nothing got in my dishwasher even. Yeah, I'm careful like that.

I said they could make me coffee if they wanted.

It seems limiting, but I didn't focus on it and neither did anyone else.
